Job overview

The Procurement department at Airedale General Hospital is part of AGH Solutions LTD, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

The Procurement team pride themselves on providing excellent customer service to their customers and we aspire to be the best we can be, assisting clinical areas in providing the best clinical care to patients and users within the hospital and community.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about sustainability and how influencing changes in the way we work and live can have a positive impact on individuals, communities and the wider environment.

You will have good communication skills, be computer literate on basic software systems such as Microsoft Office

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibilities will be strategic analysis of key purchasing data to support positive sustainable buying decisions and the development of a sustainable ethos across the entire procurement process.

You will be completing a CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification in Procurement which includes the following modules:

  • Team Dynamics & Change
  • Ethical Procurement & Supply
  • Socially Responsible Procurement
  • Contract Administration
  • Procurement & Supply Environments

  • Experience in using a purchase to pay system, such as Oracle.
